Thread: Solar power options for camper?

Well I did a search and there already was a thread, just needed updating.
Have come up with two good.families.of.options. One is the package from goalzero with folding briefcase panel and powerpack. The other option is to get a 30w panel (about right for our needs), controller, and trailer battery, then wire it into the preexisting DC lights and truck plug in. Now trying to figure out how to add a DC/ USB outlet to that config.

30 watts isn't that much at all. If you're going for a panel, make it count. Goal Zero stuff is way overpriced and gimmicky. USB is easy to wire. You can either get a cigarette lighter adapter, or just hardwire it.
