I'm not going to give them hell, I'll give them the truth & they'll think it's hell
Biden bites back
I think that the human mind is unique among all other forms of life in that it can spontaneously create unique thoughts and provide unique behaviors. Instead of rewarding that uniqueness we, for some reason probably because of cultural and social necessity, we chastise unique behavior and reward conformity.

Great clip, worth the watch!!! Glad to see the Dems right back on the horse after the Republican convention, not letting the focus get shifted from the middle class, health care, and the failure of the last 8 years.
If some of the best times of my life were skiing the UP in -40 wind chill with nothing but jeans, cotton long johns and a wine flask to keep warm while sleeping in the back of my dad's van... does that make me old school?

Is he fucking stupid? I'm pretty sure McCain mentioned both health care and education.

Biden might be my favorite politician. Tells it how it is. He might fuck up occasionally but he tells it how he sees it and he owns what he says.
If only I could have a Biden/Dodd ticket.......
Although Obama sure is up there. That guy stays high road like very few politicians of my time.

You actually think that every one of every politicians speeches are made up from whole cloth?
EVERY one uses other speeches as sources. Period.

I think Biden is going to be quite the asset in the VP debates, unfortunately VP's don't normally affect who people vote for. Which is unfortunate because I'm scared of Palin's right wing religious BS.

^^^I think he will too. He is quick on his feet and he's experienced at the hand-hand combat of elections. Watching the designated attack dogs go at each other will be entertaining.

They will likely have one debate. I doubt the McCain camp will agree to more than that.

He would own the Poutine event, though.

The 'vice prime minister' hopefuls also often have a rousing round of knuckle hopping competition. Thrilling stuff. Leslie Nielson's brother rocked at that one.
As for debates I seem to recall the vices debating in the past. However in another thread it was pointed out the McCain group is keeping Palin away from the media. That fact would seem to put the 'fact' of a debate in jeopardy. The likelihood she would have her petite ass handed to her doesn't make it more likely the McCain gang will let even one debate happen. Here's hoping though. It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

Me thinks this VP debate may be more heavily viewed and taken into consideration because of McCain's age. It is very likely that Palin could become leader of the free world in no time! Remember, McCain is 72 and had 4 bouts of cancer.
