    New Large Professor

    Devout heads will no doubt know the name Large Pro as the cat behind the beats on the forgotten classic Breaking Atoms by Main Source (Nas got his kickstart on "Live at the BBQ" off this album).

    LP has been bouncing around the game for a minute and some change, producing, releasing the odd album here and there.

    He's got a new joint dropping on 9/30.

    As is usually the case, LP's flow is hit or miss, but when it's hit (usually when his beats are on fire) it's pretty solid.

    I suggest tracks #3 and #4...both have stellar beats and the guest rappers keep LP's game on track.

    "Hardcore Hip Hop" (track #7) is also pretty rope.

    So is #8 ("Frantic Barz")...

    #12 ("Noyd") is solid, too.

    #14 ("Rockin' Hip Hop") is some electro gumption extreme "I like eatin' A-1 Sauce on fries..."
