I have scheduled the date for my first and only tattoo.
I am soo scared due to the fact that I am not good with needles and tend to be a baby at times. Any one want to hold my hand?

One of my friends got his pinky toe done black. Looks like he broke it or droped something on it. It's pretty sweat.

I am getting a wolf on the back of my lower leg. I am also putting some kaji (japanese writing) down the side of it which will say order and chaos.

Are you Japanese? I don't want to sound like a dick but I never understand why people get japanese tatoos if they are not Japanese. That's like putting an Irish flag on a French guy.....just my two cents.

I am using a dead type of japanese writing that is actually not used at all any more. I am not japanese but the symbols are very beautiful. That is all I want my tattoo to be any way, a symbol for me, and others who care to ask.

dick. No, I hear you, elevens. But I see why people do it...it's a good means to tattoo a credo without everyone knowing what it means....unless you're in Japan/Vancouver. Plus, I personally think that kaji is beautiful writing, asthetically.

It's not that bad - I've got two small ones on my ankle. Neither hurt too much - just try not to watch as they're doing it.

Tattoos can be a bit addictive. I stopped after two and I'm glad I did, but it's fun to think of new things to add or get done. I'm glad to this day that I got them, but I'm also glad I didn't get anymore, and I"m glad they're in a place where I can forget about them if I want to.

And you won't get disowned - my Mom flipped but then got over it pretty quickly. I didn't show my grandmother for years thinking it would give her a heart attack, but even she didn't mind. Probably helped that my cousin had a baby out of wedlock around the same time - it's all relative .
