    Meh... : Pineapple Express

I'd wait for it to come out on tape. Not really living up to the hype. Not really worth seeing in theaters. Definitely not worth seeing @ midnight. If you do go see it in the theater, get high first, you'll probably enjoy it better.

The screenwriter hijacked a name that brings Sierra skiers a bolt of joy in winter with thoughts of HUGE storm totals.

"A relatively common weather pattern that brings southwest winds to the Pacific Northwest or California along with warm, moist air is often called the Pineapple Express. The name comes from the source of the moisture: The tropical Pacific Ocean near Hawaii, where pineapples are grown.

The Pineapple Express sometimes produces days of heavy rain, which can cause extensive floods. The warm air also can melt snow in the mountains, further aggravating flooding.

During the colder parts of the year, the warm air can be cooled enough to produce heavy, upslope snow as it rises into the higher elevations of the Sierra Nevada or Cascades. "

Saw it today. a few good laughs, but in the end a stupid stoner movie. A lot of the story line and character development is really absurd and doesn't work at all. Its movies like this that make me want to never touch weed again.

saw it, it was good stoner entertainment at its finest.

Saw 3 people get arrested in the parking lot blazing up before the movie, 90% of the people in the theater were high as kites.

    tons of stupid laughs.

anyone else sense some seriously gay overtones?

"Red" (aka the actor Danny McBride) totally steals the show.

that dude is off-the-nuts funny as f@#k.

just saw it today, btw (work paid for it and we did a mid-day "field trip" to the cineplex...sadly provisions were not supplied, so a second, red-eyed screening may be in order).

    Wait for the DVD.

First half was decent, but the second half wasnt anything special.

How young do you think I am? It might have taken me a day or so to get the typewriter reference but I still grew up measuring the coolness of video games by how many 3.25floppys it took to hold it.

I'll be 18 on Sunday and we have a huge VHS collection.

But maybe thats just because we lived in Un-Soviet Russia for five years.

It was alright but it doesn't hold a candle to Tropic Thunder, at least in my opinion.
