I like the composition in 3. but in general these seem a bit muddy and soft. I feel like you could work your contrast more effectively.

    Thanks
#3 I added some grain and posted it by mistake, below is the clean version. #1 and 2 my subjects were in the foreground and felt a shallower DOF worked better. Always trying different things to see if they work or not.

This was supposed to be #3

While in general I like grain, if you look closely I think you will find that whatever "add grain" function you used actually darkened your whites and but. I like the second version much better.

Thanks for bumping this. Haven't looked in a while and forgot how awesome some of the shots are. Got a few to contribute, don't really shoot B&W film anymore and don't PP a lot in B&W. Nothing special, old holga shots.

good bump. This should be bumped nearly as often as POTD.

some that have probably been posted in POTD, but belong here...

really beautiful bokeh and great conversion. Very subtle and nuanced. The shadows included in the frame falling on the focused grass gives a 3d effect...

    Dead yucca "flowers".

This was an "after thought" as I walked back to the car the other night. I really like this shot, but I wish I would have done a little landscaping before I pressed the shutter.
This is the worst pain EVER!
