    A few from the weekend. There is an old lumber mill on the Schwarze Laaber creek two villages down the road from us. We bike by it a lot, but I'd never taken pictures there. On this morning, with the snow, fog and general dreariness of the scene, the pictures lent themeselves to black and white as there wasn't much color to be seen.

    Thanks, I don't think I could shoot a level picture if my life depended on it. And what frustrates me more is I have a grid in the viewfinder in my new camera!

    yeah, on sunny days the light streams in through big glass windows which are mostly blocked by tall buildings so it comes in defined shafts.
