Skiing, whether you're in Wisconsin or the Alps, is a dumbass hick country sport that takes place in the middle of winter on a mountain at the end of a dirt road.

A line, "Aces and Eights", was skied on that face sometime in the early to mid 90's or so. I am having a senior moment and can't remember the names of the skiers who (may have) done it first but I think it was repeated within the next year. I am blanking on the names but I am thinking that It may have been the telemark guy that did some steep skiing and was a librarian in P.C. for awhile..I think that he became a photographer and specialized in photographing musicians. Anyway, might not have been him but I saw pictures from the descent on a website many years ago.
Nice skiing and good job.

Definitely a sick zone and some great pics, but also definitely not a first descent. Don't let the facts get in the way of your swelling ego though.

I believe aces and eights was skied on telemark gear and maybe even leather boots but it was on the far skiers right of the main summit line that we skied - no offense ever meant but i've been reconning that face since '90 via snowmobile every year. that line does not exist when the road opens.... maybe once. call me out but also check your shit ( not you you a.l. but those doubters) check the line its fun.

Glade guy . I get it man. side of the road deal we all look at but who commits and does it - can't be someone who just posts the pics right? You? Go repeat it . .. we were skiing the other side of the road (haydens kletting A1 aggassi ostler spread eagle) when you were 4 dude.

Damn, so much bs. I think I called something a possible first descent or something like that and have been seriously doubting myself ever since. I'm not gonna bother calling anymore. There's plenty of old guard around who will know if it's a first, and call it if it is a noteworthy, first.
