I have issues

At home (Firefox 3.0), I cannot change from carbon fibre to the old style. It changes it on the User CP page but as soon as I load another page I am back to the pink and grey.

At work, (also Firefox 3.0) I could not post today. No matter how long (and insightful and hilarious) my posts were I got the 8 char error message.

I cannot post inside of the default style, I get a grayed out post box and an error that I haven't used 8 characters.

Error on the page says, Vbulletin is not a null object.

I switched to 'Site Match' style to post this. I also tried deleting All Internet explorer preferences. IE7

This issue started once I had switched my style. I know VB and the style templates probably need some Mc loven

I had the same issues yesterday. I switched back to the simple editor and everything worked fine again. Not sure what happened otherwise.

FF has been shutting me down as well. No characters register with vB once you press submit / preview even though they show up in the box. Oddly enough Safari seems to work fine. PM's get sent but they are blank.

This CF theme is ghey but it seems to work in FF unlike the original.

as long as we're revealing out issues...

Since the new forums came on line I cannot stay logged in at work - have to relog in evey time I leave the site (yes, I politely asked to be remembered, yes I cleared my cookies first)

Also, I tried out the carbon fibre bit and the enhance wysiwyg editor... did not work. reverted to standard. Since then the only color text I can select is default (ie, the drop down has no other colors in it) This problem occurs @ home too (but there I stay loggged in).

IE 6.0 @ work, IE7.? @ home.

Switch the edit interface, not the skin.

Under control panel, go to Edit Options. Then scroll down to Misc. Options/Message Editor. Switch Interface to standard or basic, then save. Log off, then back on again. You should be good to go.

Mine was on enhanced features when I encountered the same problem as you. Switching back to Standard fixed it, although I still cannot click on the 'insert image' icon, but that's no biggie, just use tags anyway. Hope this helps?

Posting works but none of the button functions in standard or enhanced mode.

I had to add the img tag myself, so make that an ugly stripper!

The main thing for me was being able to post; I still can't use icons, either. I cunt finger that one out.

I fixed my issues by going into user cp, edit options, site match, and full editing tools everything works now. sweet.

Scroll to the bottom of this page its right down on the left, a menu with different templates in it. Site Match is on e of them.

At home, I still cannot change out of carbon fibre. It changes the page I am on, but as soon as I load another page it goes back to carbon fibre. I cleared my cookies but that didn't help. Any other ideas?
