fishing Glacier/Montana, to Logan, UT
Help this eastern brook trout guy find some fish, please.
I'm using a wedding in Logan, Utah this weekend as an excuse to head up through Montana to Glacier. We'll be camped up Logan Canyon for the wedding, so I'll be fishing the Logan River in the mornings later this week. I have a basic idea of where to prospect in the Logan, but I'd welcome any pointers.
What I don't know about is where to fish between Logan and Glacier, including in and around the park. It isn't a fishing trip, but fishing's definitely part of the trip. If anyone has suggestions for worthwhile fishing objectives between Logan and the park, or in the park (and I've heard the fishing in the park is only so-so due to the sediment), I'm all ears.

Two things make answering your question tough:
1. there is more great trout water between Logan and Glacier than you could fish in a summer.
2. late/cold spring in the N. Rockies means high water right now.
First you should pm Fellin34 as he is pro guide and can offer great advice. If it was me I'd go where the salmon flies are. YOur timing is pretty good for seeing these big fuckers come off. If you've never seen this event you owe yourself the experience.
For starters, get on the 15 and blow through Idaho. Stop in Lima, MT and get your license at the little sport shop. You'll pass Clark Canyon reservoir where the Beaverhead starts below the spillway. Get off the 15 right away and have a look. HUDGE browns there. Decent public access, if the water isn't too high.

A good place to look is in water. Fish like water.

Lakes, lakes, lakes. Henry's Fork. Some creeks in Yellowstone... And, if you come through the JH- Drictor-Lower Jellystone area, I'll be happy to back row down a river for dealing with the fly swap.
