Vancouver bikers, trail suggestions!
Hey, any of you guys have any trail suggestions for me on seymour, I've only ever ridden once, at Whistler, so obviously I'm not very good. But, I'm not too bad either, I could make it down a 'blue' without eating mud and make it down a 'black' but eat mud numerous times
, just to get an idea of my skill level here. I don't know how the trails compare to Whistler but do you guys have any trails that would be good ? Just names are fine.
Thanks a lot

Sounds like Pingu and Pangor might be what you're looking for.
That said, if you're a novice rider, I recommend starting out on Bridal Path to get a feel for things first.

Why don't you hit Fromme? We just rebuilt floppy bunny and it's looking sick. Great beginner trail and there's a lot of easier stuff on that mountain. Anyways you should be able to hit anything provided you take it slow, there's usually a way around all the stunts and nothing is crazy high risk anyways.
I'd show you around but I don't have a bike right now.

I agree on Pangor. It's rated a black/blue and it really is, depending on what route you take on certain sections...keep your tires on the dirt and not the woodwork and you're pretty much on a blue. Lots of challenging sections just the same. I have not ridden it yet this year so cannot comment on it's state, but it's a great trail.
Or keep climbing and find the Severed Dick, which is a full on blue by all accounts (I don't know what it's actually rated but from the cockpit it's a pretty tame but fun trail).

Alright, so I've decided on this, baden powell > up old buck > power lines. just to get the blood moving. pingu > pangor > then whatever that small trail is after that, my friends tells me its emperor
I've heard of all these trails but never actually been down them
THANKS GUYS
Yes, I'm actually going up fromme later this week with a guy, neither of us have heard of floppy bunny but we'll ride it if we can find it

First switchback, two trails going in - one shallow gravel path from the side and a small (2ft?) drop going straight in. In super nice condition compared to the rest of the trails. It's a good, (very short mind you) easy warm up/cool down trail that is fast and fun. Alternately it is the trail that you can get to by walking up the path directly right of the green gate on the left. It's a nice confidence boost.
