I told you before I don't care for bad language. You have used profane words at least 8 times in your last two posts relateing to this an Tiger's knee surgery. If I hadn't remembered that you said you broke you back in 1984, I would have thought you to be a high school student, and would have just ignored you. But you are an older person just like me. Why don't you try to act that way. This is a sports related website, not a pornographic one, and this post is being viewed by children. Please help set an example for them.

I believe it would be in your best interest to understand the tone of this forum a bit better.
I think these threads speculating on your professional ability based on "how much time" you have available to post on a website seem silly to me. To me, a much stronger argument would be to debate the merits of the procedures you advocate and then expose you as a fraud, genius or the place somewhere in between where most of us fall. Not everyone thinks as I do.
If you looked around a bit more, you'd get the hang of this place better. You'd know who's who as in who to take seriously and who not to. You'd understand the language some people use to communicate and whether or not to take that language personally.
Skipping the "understand the place" step is why some are accusing you of an ulterior motive for posting. I'm not the first to suggest you get to know the forums better, but I hope to be the last. The above post shows that you have not taken that advice at all.I'm just a simple girl trying to make my way in the universe...

Very tangentially, every maggot and Squaw patroller (about 10) who's MRI was done at the imaging center I read for in Reno has been done gratis. I did not take a penny from them and I did whatever I could to make sure they didn't pay any fee to the center either.
There are two fees for radiology services: the radiologist reading fee and the technical fee to perform the exam.

JimS - I think you are awesome. Not because you read my MRI at your office. I was on my way to the doctor's office where he had the report anyways. But because you offered to do so gratis at the level of maggot brotherhood. Your intentions were so pure and generous, I became your biggest fan that day and I'd do anything for you in return, bro.
You are neither presumptuous nor arrogant and demonstrated to me that you are the kind of person I could call my friend. It's not the big, blusterous noise making people that impress me, but the good natured spirit of guys like you.
Dr. Mark is getting reamed for making arrogant, tough guy comments that are made in haste. When called on it, he breaks out his morality card and remains in denial. I don't buy into that for a second and if the boy wants a fight, well....I think he has issues and should seek some professional help of another nature.
Some of the postsI have referred to......Woodlandclown caught what I mean.

Splat,
I genuinely moved by your words. I means a lot to me. Especially from someone like you who is passionate about our sport and gives much to it on many levels: taking your time to make great skis, superlative stoke on TGR, sacificing your ligaments.
I do this because I feel that is a way for me to show my appreciation and reciprocity to those who make try to maintain & build the stoke and enthusiam for skiing/snowoboarding as well as progression of the sport. I consider it an honor and privilege to care for them (you).
Your friend,
Jim

You need to avoid vulgar language in public. I am waiting for your PMs, and will be happy to wait untily your leg recovers for anything else, but I will be happy to let it all go by the wayside if you watch your language on anything but PMs.

At about 1:05
Please keep it down, this is a family restaurant.
Fuck fuckety fuck fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.
It´s interesting, like others have said, that semi-threats of violence are considered OK by you, DrMark, but profanity is not? Is this part of the Texan doctrine? Bible thumping jackass. Sorry about playing the Texan card, I know there are a bunch of you on TGR that are good guys(and gals).
Wouldn´t want you as my doctor, nor would I want to work with you. At first, I thought it was great that you took your time to contribute to this forum in particular.
I really believe you should quit posting on TGR for a while, at least until you´ve taken bklyn´s recent advice to your heart. Either you stay here and stop whining about profanity and vulgar language, and give your advice for what it´s worth - it´s still allowed to be a narcissist prick - or you get the fuck out and stay the fuck out.
I am a vulgar Norwegian and very proud of it.

Well done folks. That was a knowledgeable and very helpful resource that no one here ever benefited from. Good thing you proved how powerful you are by chasing him off.

So now the maggots can claim VICTORY! Won the battle but lost the war. But at least you proved how you can band together and make it so uncomfortable for someone that they no longer wish to post. Have you ever considered who's going to provide the info he was? Even if you didn't agree with it, it would make you think and usually cause research or a debate.
I didn't much care for everything drmark said, or Splat for that matter, but as I stated in the past, everyone is entitled to speak; right or wrong. The whole First Amendment thing. Maybe that's part of the reason there are so many lurkers. But you guys proved you are more important than the First Amendment.
So what if what he stated was not always correct once the full picture was known. I believe the percentage for doctors to be correct on their diagnosis is something like 55% (this number is old and is probably higher with new technologies). You expect more than that via the internet! Who has too much time on their hands? Far as I can tell, maggots.
You even accused him of trying to drum up business but many of you have in your signature, links to your own business. Has anyone out there been ripped off by drmark?
You don't have to chase me off. I'm already gone.

I usually stay out of The Gimp section because, despite the best and most sincere intentions, I think there's a lot of the 'blind leading the blind'. I have read only a few of Dr. Mark's posts.
I don't think Dr. Mark who practices in Texas plans on accumulating wealth be posting on this forum and perhaps other forums.
Treating patients is an art and there is more than one way to treat nearly every malady; often there is less than 100% agreement in the medical community which method is best. And sometimes there is no best treatment.
OK....there is 100% agreement that ACL and meniscal tears should not be treated with amputation.
With imaging studies sometimes the findings are definitive and sometimes the images are equivocal. At every single conference I go to for radiologists, there are lectures where they show difficult cases and poll the audience of radiologists to see if they thought "this was a tear", " a cancer", "an abnormal obstetric ultrasound, etc" and it's not always an easy call.Every man dies. Not every man lives.

So if George Bush starts posting in the Padded Room we should be sucking his dick and kissingly his ass because he offers insightful political views, even though he's an arrogant dick with no idea of how the world in this forum operates?
Oh, yeah, and this guy is the only orthopod on the fukking planet who might post here?
L&AirC - apparently you don't have enough time posting here to understand how shit works yourself, JONG. I've not seen any witty or insightful posts from you, so you should STFU.

it maybe the blind leading the blind in here, but I cant tell you how much this forum helped me leading up to my surgery, having never been injured before. it took a lot of the unknown and scariness out of it for me. i take it for what its worth, some stuff i agree with, some not so much. my experience hasnt been exactly the same as anyone elses in here and i wouldnt expect it to be. That being said, I think the majority in here sharing personal experiences care about those they are conversing with and want to help. Dr. mark has admitted and proven he doesnt care. I dont care if he continues to post in here or not, i dont think he will be missed though.
anyway, he is the one who freaked about such a simple word..obviously this place isnt right for him if he cant handle it. I swear on a regular basis, but I will tell you I have no problem finding dance partners, I have awesome parents who raised me in the best way possible and i grew up in a nice house with a door on it.
