    Teva Games

Anyone else up here in Vail?

    XC? Road? Kayakers? Anyone?

I decided to have a go at the freeride (aka speed trials) and slopestyle events. Watch for the PBR shirt and wannabe style amidst the world class riders

Yep. I was out there having fun on the bike. It was pretty rad to compete with some of the world's best in front of the huge crowds. Good times.

So how did it go? We have a Friend, Blake Robinson, who was in both events as well, wonder how things turned out for you guys.

Haha. That would be my team manager during the XC race. Great guy.

My bike won the freeride event Hauck's tire went flat as the announcer was saying "3, 2, 1..." so I let him borrow my ride. It's the same bike, essentially. Without any practice on my ride, he threw down and won the event.

I got eliminated by Chase by 0.05 seconds and missed out on making semis. Sooo close!

The slopestyle course was a blast as the jumps were large, but easy to hit/trick. Qualifier went well, but I lack the ridiculous talent of the 8 that were chosen to go onto the finals.

I watched a little of the slopestyle practice...man were those kids throwing down. I bet the finals went off! Incidentally they left some of the jumps up Monday. Facing knee surgery several days later I opted only to hit the hip, but it was fun to get back into jumping, even on such a small scale.

There should be a "trials" one up in the next few days on the tevamountaingames site....

It is "Tevva" according to the president and marketing guys so I go with that, although people love to argue with me....
