Sick, I have climbed that line when the ice is in, skiing it is just sick. And I thought your TR of skiing the north face last spring was badass....

    Hi

Nice photos, nice descent. We were climbing Martha on Mount Lady Washington the same day - we were an hour behind you on the trail. I have some far-away shots of you three dropping in - taken from summit of Mount Lady Wash! I did not lug my zoom lense up the climb, so you guys are small dots on a big descent, but when you zoom in you can clearly see you guys are on skis!
Man, watching you guys had me nervous! Glad you made it safely.
Let's get in touch and I will send you the e-photos. Thanks to Scott for helping me find you here, off a thread I posted over at Moutnain Project.

    Hi
Here is a photo of the first two of you dropping into the Notch! Lead skier is about 80 feet below Notch, just to the left of an elongated rock. Second skier is about 30 feet below Notch, just right of a roughly triangular rock. The head of the third skier can be seen in Notch - I could see you moving around through the camera lens!

The only thing that looked even remotely within my comfort zone/skill set was the final apron at the bottom.

    Way to get some!

    Good shit, way to go.
Real ski mountaineering on a classic climbing route in good condition. Lots of risk, taken in a controlled method. The French and Italians would be proud to ski with you.

that's extreme skiing. I'm glad I am not an extreme skier and I hate skiing with that type of exposure. Wild stuff.

Powder snow skiing is not fun. It’s life, fully lived, life lived in a blaze of reality. What we experience in powder is the original human self, which lies deeply inside each of us, still undamaged in spite of what our present culture tries to do to us. Once experienced, this kind of living is recognized as the only way to live–fully aware of the earth and the sky and the gods and you, the mortal, playing among them. Dolores LaChapelle
