I skied them on spring slush. They are the only ski I have been on that I would say is way too fat for "normal" skiing. They torque the hell out of your ankle. But they would be amazing in pow that is for sure. They are not that hard to turn either, but def a quiver ski.

I'm not sure those are the prophets. I saw some demos in snowbird and they were not that big. I think those are the skis they made like two pairs of for Pollard to take to Russia. They are like 140 or 150mm or something ridiculous like that.

Line had all sorts of weird one-off fat skis at their booth at SIA. They had this mostly plain white pair that was no more than 180cm, but had HUGE tip and tail kick, and was probably around 130 in the waist. LOTS of sidecut also...
OOOOOOOHHHH, I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!

As I've mentioned in other threads, Line made two pairs of 155mm waisted skis. McConkey got one. I assume Pollard got the other.

On a similar note, I was in LTD the last couple of days demoing a mtb. Which meant I got to drool over the real live model for the MoShips.Last edited by Arty50; 06-13-2004 at 10:53 PM.

But Rascal King can get 99 of 'em!
The other, remaining one's reserved for Eric Pollard. He'll have to make do.

man, I'm sure those are just the GOODS for AK, but if I saw someone riding those in the lower 48 on anything other than 2 feet of fresh, I think I'd have to quote Shrek...
<shrek>Do you think he's compensating for something?</shrek>we need more people in skiing before this industry will be able to pay our athletes what they are worth.
