Just ran across your post in a different thread. Pete scammed me, thinks its funny, hides, and shouldn't be here. Tell you what pete, I will never show my face around here if you prove me wrong. And it's not just me, obviously others here are onto you. And yeah, thanks for offering to send my stix back 3 months later during the offseason you POS.

If you had a case, you wouldn't have went into hiding. So ball in your court, and don't make me humiliate you further. But have a feeling you will, can't wait you fuck.

There's no winner in this case. I've come to grips that I'm not getting my money. And have been told to start new thread to alert you all. Why the fuck would I start shit if I scammed someone? And lax had same experience with pete.

I will back up Cito that BIGPETEY is an ass and should not be trusted. I was selling two pairs of skis recently (a few weeks ago) and he sent me a PM lowballing me for one of my skis badly. Then when I told him no he told me he was going to buy both skis so could i give him a deal on both. I thought I would try and work out a deal for a fellow maggot since I got the skis here. Pass on the deal, right? He continued to be a dick about price. After ten PM's about price on the last one after agreeing to a deal he wants to back out of buying both skis and instead only buy one pair at the discounted price I was giving him if he bought both. I had gotten other much higher offers while we exchanged an ungodly amount of pms but I never changed the price on him as long as he was buying both. Him backing out is annoying but shit happens so it wasn't a big deal. When I told him no, he began posting on my thread where I was selling the skis that I wasn't too be trusted. Don't buy from me etc.. FUCKING HYPOCRITE. That is bullshit. I was going to let it go because why even feed people like that by posting back. However, when I read cito's story it just pissed me off. Sorry Cito. I was lucky because the guy was being such an ass lowballing me that I never shipped the skis, but he also tried to get me to ship them without payment. The nerve for him to be a scammer, and just an asshole in general, than post on people's threads so they can't sell anything because they will screw people over, while he has actually been scamming is ridiculous. BULLSHIT His name, and more importantly his shipping address should go on a do not buy/sell list with Jessejones.

Paypal fee sucks, but will do if we have to. Thing is, hooked up some fuck bigpetey and sent him two pairs of seths without payment, and he still stiffin' me.

last line was me feeling bad asking spin for payment first. Sheezus, this redic.

For what it's worth, bigpetey05 and I had a good transaction, too. At least on his side He paid in full (although forgot to add $10 for shipping which isn't a big deal) and was a trustworthy fella - in our case, I was the one who made him wait longer by delaying the shipment. In any case - bigpetey05 is good in my book.

cito, if it went down that way, sorry man, that sucks. In the future, if something like this happens, don't just sit on it and keep it to yourself. You actually do the rest of us a disservice by keeping quiet. I know I'd be pissed if I got scammed by someone then found out that they had scammed another mag but that mag kept quiet about it.

And just so it is in this thread, this is what bigpetey05 had to say:

so this guy cito sends me out two k2 seths in feb. he tells me one is brand new, and the other one is used I think he said for a day? he tells me not to pay and he'll send them out, and if i like them I can keep them and than send him money .

The sticks come, and they are in great condition. the used one had minor damage to the edge but was obvious used for more than a day, i tell him i rather keep the brand new one and just send back the used one.

he tells me now that since i want to return the used one he has to charge me more money for the new one. i knew that this was pretty screwed up because we had agreed on a price for each ski before he sent them out. so i try to make him and myself happy and we agree on a different price.

i tell him i can send him money though paypal, but he said to send him a check to save on paypal fees or whatever. so i send out a check, and two weeks later he tells me he hasn't received it and that he is worried. he now saids he wants 50 dollars extra for the inconvenience.

i try my hardest not to blow up, and we work things out. i send him out another check....two weeks later he messages me and says the damn same fucking thing. i tell him that i can pay through paypal, he tells me thats fine but he wants like an additional ridiculous amount of money. i tell him no, thats not fair. he basically tells me i can either pay him his requested amount of money, or return the ski's. thankfully i didn't use the ski's and tell him i will ship him out the ski's in the morning.

the next morning, i get another message from him, he tells me now not to return the ski's, and that he is going through and suing me. at this point i know the guy is probably crazy, and will sue me. i go get some consulting done with my attorney. so as i am spending money on my attorney, and waiting for his process server to serve me, he messages me again and tells me more weird stories.

i don't scam people, and i think have done at least 40 different transactions with different people on this board and never once have i had a problem.

this guy is a nut case, and tells me to look up his name on the web. his name did pop up, and it turns out he pleaded guilty to conspiracy of stealing 4.2 million dollars or some shit like that back in 2002.

i don't know how many times i tryed to make this right with the guy. i have dealt with some many people on this board, and i think the only problem besides this one i had was with drenchman, and that was cause he forgot to mention a chip on his mantras.

Yeah, that's what I meant to quote. Water off a ducks back. He's a liar and a theif. Of course some may have had honest transactions with this scumbag. Point being, who has had a bad transaction with him? More than one. Me, never treated anyone with disrespect when selling.

All I can say is that my transaction w/ Cito went smooth as could be. He told me he was concerned about shipping skis first due to having been scammed... We sorted it out to everyone's satisfaction that night and I had a USPS tracking # the next day. I was happy enough that when actual shipping came out a bit less than I'd guessed (which he informed me of right up front), I told him to have a beer or three on me. Just my one data point regarding a totally righteous transaction...

Like I said, good for you fly, how about those chiming in on who had a bad experience with pete or me. Guarantee you won't hear an ounce of complaints from my buyers, pete - besides lax and tons of other PM's about this fuck- different story. Why is he in hiding? Think about it. I guess until it happens to you (plural), you'll understand.

He isn't in hiding, he responded quite quickly to that other thread. If you want to convince us, or at least me, respond to his accusations that you started demanding more money, etc. Or just give us your version, all you have done is said he's a scammer.

Well, the way to prove your point (on either side) is to simply post the ACTUAL PM's sent and received.

I am not gonna throw shit one way or the other until somebody shows me some facts to their side. I'm sure Suit could verify that the PMs are "as-stated" in the DB if somebody starts changing words.

In the meantime, good names may just end up slandered.

I've put myself out there financially for a quite a few maggs and would HATE to have somebody saying I am untrust-worthy so I can completely understand the frustration either way.

Seriously now, all I have done was call him a scammer? Bro, it's been over 3 months without a dime. You believe that two checks got lost - never cashed - ask him. Once I asked, " just paypal me"...his response, "I'd rather just wire the money to your bank account, can I have your bank account number?". I'm like hold up, suspicious. This kid who held my sticks for months wants my bank info - c'mon. Reminder: I shipped two sticks on trust and no money. This is a no brainer.

i am here but i don't get it. why don't you have it. why can't i just deposit it in your account? ask anyone even your bank its safe. i can't take money out if thats what your worried about. ( in order to take money out i have to show id). but anyone can deposit, cause once its in its the bank money anyways.

As was posted in a previous thread, you come off pretty surly when anyone asks you anything. I didn't steal from you, I don't know you from Adam, I am just asking for some details and all you come back with is attitude. Bigpetey posted a long and detailed, if somewhat odd, story. All you keep saying is "I sent him the sticks and he has paid, what more do you need to know?" Well, his post has an explanation that goes beyond lost checks, it even says that you told him NOT to send the skis back and that you were suing him. Sounds odd, I'll admit, but right now everything about this sounds odd. So excuse me for actually asking for your detailed version of the facts.
