Dude, you'd take a white box with a red X in it into the fray? FAIL!

Hey man - she's a talented actress. Simply referring to her as a "white box" is pretty demeaning.

For serial? I might take you up on that offer someday. Where is that?

I've got one of those 627's. A finer revolver has never been made. It was actually my first handgun.

And about the ACR, yes is should be more reliable than the ar, but the smart ass in me had to mention something. Just because its a gas piston doesn't necessarily make it perfect either. What caliber conversions are slated for it? I hadnt heard anything about that.

    Damn Lerorrrr for the pwn.

Yeah good luck finding a WWI trenching shovel. You would have to loot a museum. You should be able to find one of these more readily and it would be 100x more useful.

^^^^the halligan, good for prying doors, but sucks for swinging. I grab a pick head axe over that every time.

Anyway, to answer the question I'll take a hk416 with a sopmod kit and m203, a benelli m4, and glock 19. All easy to find ammo and covers all ranges effectively.

Fo real. It's in Springfield, Mass- on Page Blvd, right off 291. Members only pay $5 to rent the lane and gun, then get "discounted" ammo. If you are ever in the northeast, it's a man's-must-do and I'd be more than happy to show you around. Also, if you give me some notice I can call the range and have them schedule a go-round with the .500 (at only $2 per shot!) Really, though- the Performance Center case is worth the trip alone.

Wow. 627 for your first? Damn, that's cutting right to the chase- that's like losing your virginity to Jenna Jameson.

It's been a while since I read the article- let me see if I can dig it out and fill you in, I don't want to regurgitate info that has been clouded by many a bong hit. I think I remember seeing them trying to offer a .223 5.56 and a shorty 7.62 round, but I'm not positive and that was before Bushmaster took the helm. Let me get back to you, though- I know inquiring minds want to know.

... and some Performance Center .44 Magnum Long Barrel action. This is just about as fast as I can get six rounds down range in an accurate fashion. This side view shows the fire coming out of the barrel pretty well.

    http://www.magpul.com/pdfs/masada_technote.pdf

Here's info on the Magpul Masada as it was being developed. I was a little off in the caliber conversions, they developed a 5.56, a 6.8 Rem, and a 7.62x39 (AK) package and three barrell lengths along with three buttstock options. I like how the grip & stock have little compartments that'll work well with my chillum, lighter & a few nugs...

Here's what Mac from Future Weapons has to say about it... I love the part at about 5:05 where the guy says "What do you want to build, an AK??" Minutes later it's done. No tools. That's the kind of versatility I want should the SHTF.

I may have to bribe you to let me join you one day. I just picked up a SW Sigma, can't wait. I have only heard amazing things about that place.

Just curious, of all you people throwing up your ideal guns, how many of you have actually shot them? How many of you shoot them more than twice a year? All the guns in the world don't mean shit if you can't use them.
I'd like to meet the person shooting 2inch groups at 150' with a pistol.

As for weapons, full auto is worthless since only a well placed bullet to the head does any good.
Full auto is for clearing crowds of living people. In the Zombie Apocalypse this will only create more undead and waste ammo.

Best weapon is semi auto assault or sniper rifle.
Glock with largest clip possible for when things close in (save last one in chamber for yourself)

Exclamation About choosing a Z-day weapon.

I feel bad about saying this, but... Although it would be possible to get almost any weapon for Z-Day it is very unlikely, unless you are either mlitary or very close to a national gaurd depot, to get almost half of the guns that you guys are saying that you would be depending on having on Z-day. Sorry to be a downer, but realisticaly you only will have the guns and weapons that you have at home, have with you at all times, or those that you know that you can get, as in its in your neighbors closet and he/she has showed it to you. I just think that those of you who are planning on getting your hands on assult weapons or military arms might regret that your only plan depended on getting a weapon that you never could get your hands on.

Yet agian, sorry to be a poop.

So on a realistic view point.
I would be packing my Springfield 1903 (it's .30-06 bolt action for those that don't know) with no scope and several hundred rounds. It has no scope, but has very accurate apature sights, as in a head shot at around 100 yards, yes I use human figure targets. For a close up weapon I would have a Ithaca m66 I would probably saw it down, since it is on the large side. It is a single shot, but it is light, and could be carried without being a burden. As a back up gun I would have my .38 special Smith &Wesson long barreled revolver.
I know that I can get these guns with in 3 minutes loaded and on my person, along with getting my bob on my person. If I was really pressed for time I would only get my bob, and the 1903.

first of all I want to say that when the zombie apocalypse comes, they are going to get fucked up. seriously. people in the US have been thinking about this shit for the last decade, jokingly. but when it happens everyone has thought this shit out already. we're gonna own some zombie ass.

that being said, I think having a boat is prime. I'm going to take the Rem 870, scoped 10/22, USP, and scoped Rem 700 with lots of ammo out on the boat, which I think is the exception to the long rifle rule.

Then I will wait. I doubt zombies can drive boats anyway, and if they do, I will be able to take most of them out with the rifle before they even get to me.

Or I just start sailing out into the ocean with enough food and wait for this shit to be over.
