durable shorts?
anyone know where I can find a durable (like cordura) long-inseam overshort?
I have a few old fox Huck shorts which are perfect, but the asses are giving out.

I'm diggin these from Swobo. Slick in that the short and the chamois liner are not one piece so you can snag extra liners so ya always have clean one.

They're not quite up to the cordura level, although if we're thinking of the same type of cordura I feel like it wouldn't be flexible enough to ride with.
I have some Spectrum Techwear shorts (www.spectrumtechwear.com) that I dig; they're long and baggy and seem decently durable. I have the Wilson--you might check out the Gunslinger, which are supposed to be more durable.

Fox has some heavy duty shell (no liner) shorts specifically for biking (this year's version has a decent sized pocket, which is a plus):

and I've also used both Fox and Thor zip off moto pants for DH too, which have held up well. You know you want the pink ones Yentna and I got this year:
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow, what a Ride!"

marshal - I'll check out the tld next time I'm down your way
truth - how tough are those? the outers look kind of swimsuitish
squatch - those look like what I'm talking about, and hard to beat at 35 bones
poww - do you have the knickers? their regular shorts look pretty nutthuggin.
AG - That must be the reincarnated huck short, but with superhero decals and such. as for the pink? I already exude too much sexy

^^Yeah, I just use a heavy work short (heavier climbing shorts too) over some Fox liners that have a manpon and padding.

I love the DNA shorts... They have worn unbelievably (though they have a decent pricetag on them).

Whatever is cheap at Costco. I just picked up some ripstop cargo shorts there for like $10-15 bucks.
