very, very nice. thanks for putting that together and sharing it. if those of us that have never met him, but have close friends that knew him well can appreciate that video tribute - i can only imagine what it means to those that knew him well. RIP John and i hope you're ripping pillow lines and spinning smooth threes like that up in Heaven

I just saw the obituary in yesterdays paper, came on here looking for something exactly like this. Thank you.

I met John only briefly, several years ago, but what I remember was a really great, happy guy whose mood was infectious. So sorry to hear this news. R.I.P.

After seeing John's interview posted in the early thread he seemed like an impressive person. After seeing that segment it is clear he ripped. Not only was that a great tribute, but really just a kick ass ski porn short. Really impressive skiing. RIP John and many vibes to family and friends.

I have no ties to John whatsoever, but that video was especially moving. Having lost a good, good friend in Billy Poole earlier this year, I can imagine the pain that John's friends and family are going through right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, and may you be better in your lives for having known someone that seems to have been a special individual.

There are always going to be people that don't understand why other people take risks. Most of the people on this board understand the awesome feeling skiing gives you and understand why people take those risks, but unfortunately many other places on the interweb are conducive to people who can't grasp that concept.

The 'paycheck' comment shows how out of touch those people are.

I remember seeing and article on digg.com about Billy's death that made me absolutely sick. Take comfort in knowing he probably experienced more 'best moments' in a week than most people do in a lifetime.

It's not worth getting worked up over...

Very good video, it was nice to see how everyone rallied after everything went down to celebrate his life!! The free-skiing community is a special thing!
