Ice Mountain, CO
Outside of Buena Vista/Winfield. Anyone been there, skied that? Just looking for some beta on it. Access, lines, etc. Been looking at it for 15 years now and it's just killing me. I can't find anyone who's skied it or even hiked it for that matter. I know there's enough snow on it right now, and it might be the weekend to go make a try on it. Bueller?

What line're you thinking? N/NW Couloir?
Some fairly decent beta here.
Haven't been there myself, though several friends have. The main couloir between Ice and Apostle North has a reputation for icing up; dunno about the other lines on the Apostles.
Good luck with that - those are spectacular hills. Post pics if you make it happen.

No, I wasn't but it just may be the icyest? mountain on the planet. Did I mention flat. Strange thing is, you will see the Keystone park in almost every major ski move coming out next year. I know they had MSP, TGR, Poor Boyz, and 3 or 4 other film crews out this year. Look for footy of the BBQ rail. You'll know it when you see it. Bring on the marshmallows and weenies!!!
