Boston - the Band
Tom Scholz is a pretty smart dude. Guitarist for a band that has sold 31 million albums, an MIT grad, inventor, freestyle figure skater. Hmmm....

You're really trolling for MIT a lot recently.
Ever been to see Brad Delp's Beatles cover band? Pretty good for a Beatles cover band, play at Johnny D's a lot.

It's really just spam. But since I used to play around town a bunch, it's great to see wicked smaaht guys from Boston break out of the scene and make a name for themselves. Playing gigs at the Middle East is cool and all but after a while, with no interest from labels, it really starts to drag on you.
Oh - and I haven't seen his show. But I hear it's pretty good.

Boston story:
Back in the early 90's, some of the guys from Boston sort of, but not quite, re-formed the band under a new name that I've forgotten. They played my college (outside of Boston) one night, and a frosh who might have never been to a concert before got himself a ticket and headed down to see them. About an hour later he returns to the dorm, and everyone asks him what happened. As he describes the show, which he found understandably poor, we began to realize he'd seen the opening act, and left after that.
Based on other reports, though, he may have left just in time.[quote][//quote]

That's right. Return to Zero. And stay there.
