TR: Dear Diary, Wish you were HERE (Alpental/Crystal) 3.29-30 2008

    3.29 - 3.30 2008
Unbelievable. Wow. Awesome. Yeah, that's probably how you could describe it. Crystal delivered the goods on Saturday,
but Alpental was off the charts on Sunday. Green Light kinda of day to hit almost anything you've ever wanted to hit at the Tal.
Though the crowds were INSANE the area skied incredible. First tracks down the Big H might have been run of the year.

We managed a couple pics from the late afternoon for the diary.
The snow was too good to stop earlier in the day, I'm sure you'd understand

Tarkman1 wanted pow and booked a ticket to the PNW.
His perceptions have now been forever warped by our crappy, coastal snow
    and flat terrain.

    Musical talent: Wyclef

Great tunes, great pics, another rodent classic. You slay it my friend...wish I were THERE.

Well that sure did NOT help the regrets of not going up to Alpy today, but it definitely upped the stoke-meter. Great shots as always, way to slay it!

Talking My best day in Utah.....

...was my first day back in the PNW.

Amazing day, amazing lines and despite the hoards (hey, lines weren't too bad) an amazing unfuckingtracked number of runs through draft dodger/hummix, the Unicorn, and then setting the boot for 261. Yup, I just used the same adjective 3 times in a sentence, amazing.

A few more pics from the day:

Matt right on the horn of the Unicorn

    BenWA plays hideNschralp.

Matt sends it through a 2ft wide spine

    Sq99 on the flats

Tarkman contemplates the heart of the gnar

    I see a smile

I have a smile today too.
Move upside and let the man go through...

Alpy goes onto Spring Schedule this week- only open Thu-Sun. It's supposed to warm up mid-week so not sure how that will play out.
FYI - Baker also goes to limited ops this week so check the hours before going anywhere

    Damn dude.

If sunday blew the pants off of saturday, then consider my mind blown.

Looks like you played the weekend quite well.

Good to see you up at xtal. I know where all those pics were shot.

I swear, one of these days I will get to alpy, so you can show me where all those others were shot.
