I know all the arm chair physicists were already discussing similar things....but the basic question is, is 300 any more painful than 240?

I vote this is definately a world record. Dude jumped a 300 foot cliff and lived.

Thats good because we all know that skiing with out poles is not really skiing at all.

    Oh sorry you said pole.

This isn't a record. Jamie Pierre meant to set the record. This moron lost his line like an idiot and fell off. Two different things, so this isn't a record.

    End of story.

says who? you? hahahahaha... is there some record book somewhere? As far as I'm concerned, this dude just obliterated what Pierre did and Pierre is an idiot for landing on his noggin.

accidently skiing off a 330 foot cliff is pretty dumb but intentionally jumping off a 250 foot cliff is really dumb. this guy gets the win for:

    a. actually skiing off the drop
    b. not landing on his head
    c. being less dumb

Intentionally skiing off a 250 footer isn't dumb. The guy wanted to send it and he did. This Norwegian moron just wanted to ski a line and fell off, thats dumb. How does it sound when you say "I accidently set the world record?" DUMB

Best post so far. Grapedrink and Norway dude win, hands down. Whatever winning "hands down" actually means.

Whatever, I don't see them declaring it a record so this is a pointless argument. Jamie will still hold the record, which he should.

your reading comprehension sucks donkey balls. the only mistake made was missing the intended line. the dude sent it hard off the cliff skiing like a motherfucker and managed to have presence of mind in the air to hold it together and not land on his noggin.

What the hell are you talking about? Sounds to me like he was trying to huck big, and accidentally went bigger. Were you unable to read Samuels' post, what with Jamie Pierre's dick in your mouth?
