cannondale jeckll question
I have a first or second year cannondale Jeckll (800) and with the original fox float RL with lock out it gives 4 to 4.5 " travel (1.75" stroke) . The newest jecklls have 5.5" travel with the newer shocks.
Did they get the extra travel from
1) New rear triangle
2) New front triangle
3) New rear shock
Its just that I can order a new fox shock or get mine changed do give it more stroke. but the store I'm working for doesn't deal cannondale so I can't order the new frame. I just can't deal with paying retail.
Any ideas guys?

I have no idea. I'd think you'd have to have the two models side by side and take some measurements. My guess would be that they changed the geometry of the frame, not just the shock, but it's just a guess."Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow, what a Ride!"

absolutely unrelated to this mtb question, but did anyone see saeco team member cunego win a tour of the giro when they wore their 'legalize my cannondale' chain-gang kit? that was pretty sweet.
