I haven't been taking many pictures on this trip, and all I have is dial-up, so I can only paint pictures with my words.
Snowbird was phenomenal today. I took an all-day semi-private lesson with my two friends (Diana went shopping). When I say all-day, I mean all-day. He picked me up at my condo and dropped me off at the end of the day. My friends own a place in Park City, and they always take privates with him. The snow was great. The sun was shining. We skied steeps, moguls, steep moguls, and chutes all day. I got my mojo back and probably skied with better technique today than I have ever skied, thanks to the suggestions by the instructor. I am exhausted and happy and having a beer.

STD is a good person, a nice guy. Got raked over the coals at the Mammoth forums back when he posted a similar thread, took a good beating, but came out better for it. I haven't skied with him, but met him at "The Viper Room".
Can't say I have a good opinion of his ski fashion sense, but he is alright in my book.
I don't know if there was an alias here or not, but I find it odd for it to suddenly disappear.
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot

Dang, it was all an alias. The TGR thread was an ultraclassic, though, with over 5000 views and lotsa laffs. The original MammothMountain.com thread (also gone) was classic as well. I don't have any doubts that he's all-in-all a good guy, even though he did seem a bit thin skinned over at the mm.com thread (but that was 2 years ago).
His fashion steeze is undeniably unique:
1) One-of-a-kind snowtiger helmet
2) One-of-a-kind snowtiger-embroidered fartbag
3) Color-matched fanny pack
4) The coup de grace, in my book, is the Gatorade™ holster.
Fits right in at da 'Bird:

The rental shop at Bird put him on some Rossi Z3`s? Never heard of them but he seemed to like them. The Goodes have had the bindings rip out twice now, time to make a ski chair.I`m going to try and get him to the Mammoth Mini.TigerMan and Captain Powder, one drinking out of his holster while one is blowing the sheeps horn......................FKNA!!!!!!!!!!!!

More video
STD and I (+ his wife) were in Bend Jan. 12-13&14.
I haven't had the chance to dub the video with my choice of tunes yet.
The snow was very dry and fluffy.

STD sighting? Mammoth Chair 22 on Sunday. I know nothing about the original thread or him but noticed the helmet. I was having too much fun to stop so I just snapped this and kept going.
I see Blue; He looks glorious.

Helmet-check.
Holster-check.
looks like a sighting alright.
Now who's seen Dr. What? around???Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.
