POLL: CO Mini 2008 Dates
CO Maggot Mini 2008: When's it gonna be? Some say April 26-27, but the naysayers are opting for May 3-4. Here's a poll just for Nick PapaG.
Factors to consider:
1. Terrain starts closing earlier in the day, if not permanently, around the last week of April.
2. There will be a low-scale terrain park competition, perhaps crowding the area to junkshow-like proportions, May 3-4.
3. The Loveland Corn Harvest is April 26.
4. The CU beaters have to take finals starting May 3 (boooo).
Obviously, my preference is for April. I'll be legal then, I'll be able to ski probably more terrain, and I won't be taking finals.
(Good call, pechelman).Last edited by Deep Days; 03-11-2008 at 08:05 AM.

i vote 5/3 because i am taking finals tomorrow, and then have until june to take them again... and i am going to be at work both days, so it doesn't really matter.

A few people keep repeating this. What's so great about that? I've never been to one and wasn't planning to go to this one since there would obviously be TONS of people there...
I can't imagine a resort sanctioned thing being more entertaining than the debauchery of a CO Mini...

First of all, this thread isn't even a poll.
Secondly, there's no chance I would miss the Corn Harvest/LBD/TeleMike going away party.
Third, and finally, please do explain the Hamm's Challenge.

A week from Friday (March 21) I'll tally this shit up, and we'll have a verdict. So GET YOUR VOTES IN.
Yeah, I'm an idiot. I had another thread that actually was a poll but it was posted in typical Gosey stupidity. So I deleted it in now not-so-typical Gosey fashion and forgot to include the poll.
Those of you whinin' about the Corn Harvest (
): go to it 'til lunchtime or so and come over to the Basin after that. Definitely not like you can't drink Hamm's at the Basin.
I'll be sure to drop by the Land on Saturday to tell a good man peace out. (On a slightly related note, where are you headed, Mike?)Last edited by Deep Days; 03-11-2008 at 06:33 PM.

Not digging the whole weekend thing...
Oh well, busy both those weekends anyway. Hows about a mini-mini on the first?Skiing, whether you're in Wisconsin or the Alps, is a dumbass hick country sport that takes place in the middle of winter on a mountain at the end of a dirt road.

For what its worth my vote is April. 27th=two days before the end of my first month of being married.......damn that still doesn't make sence.

Only the "CO crew" could fuck things up like this.
No wonder SW CO has seceded. Central needs to follow suit.

My rodeo season starts that first weekend in May. Would love to join everyone if it's the last weekend in April. Not sure how well my knee will hold in the conditions, but I can drink oh so well!
