touring binding shuffle...what goes where?
Yeah, I know, another "what binding on which ski" thread. Just looking for some new ideas or what I might be missing. I know I'm splitting hairs here, but bear with me.
The skis in question and current clamps (all have skins cut except Lotus, which are G3 Alpinists still in the box):
192 Lotus 138's drilled for solly pattern for my bsl, but was thinking dynafits
179 soft bros w/freerides
172 t-rocks w/dynafits
additional bindings to play with:
several pairs of 997's din to 14
the aforementioned dynafits
a spare pair of diamirs
also, a pair of 175 pocket rockets on the way (intended for the girlfriend's touring setup).
Boots:
Nordica Beasts
Garmont Megarides w/booster strap, Tornado tongues, and higher back spoiler
Me:
Yes, I'm an East Coaster, but I have frequent flier miles to burn, which means at least 2 trips per year out west or abroad, plus semi-frequent eastern BC and pre dawn resort poaching when it's good. 155 lbs, decent skier, virtually no hucking (which means dynafits and freerides have given me just about zero trouble for the past 4-5 years).
Here are the options I've come up with so far:
Option 1: (what I was originally thinking)
-t-rocks/dynafits - superlight setup (i.e. yearly tuckermans trip, long tours, technical hiking/climbing)
-bros/freerides everyday bc setup plus 3-6" on resort
-138/dynafits - deep days touring and resort
-pocket rockets/diamirs - gf touring setup
Option 2:
-change the t-rocks to the gf touring setup w/diamirs
-put dynafits on the bros as my everyday AND lightweight touring setup
-put the freerides on the pocket rockets as a loaner setup for friends
-put 997s on 138s for resort only.
I think that the only drawback with option 2 is that I lose the ability to bring the alpine boots on vacation with me with the bros. Certainly they are light enough though to run the gamut between a lw setup and an everyday setup. The upside is being able to sell a pair of dynafits and some 130mm alpinist skins, I guess.
Then, my travellin' quiver would probably be a pair of groomer skis (currently kingswood skinnies) and the bros if there's no snow in the forecast, the bros and 138's if there is. I'm thinking that at least if I had the freerides on the bros I would be fine with either boot, as they will probably be coming with me either way.
Here's another wrench in the plan - what if I add the brockers next season with 997's? hmmm - that would mean bros and brockers if it was a destination with a lot of traversing/long runouts and bros and 138s if not. The brockers and 138s would see about equal (i.e. limited but super fun when appropriate) use back home.
Any pros/cons I am blatently missing?

Sell the t-rocks, put the dynafits on the bros, and buy some dukes for the 138s. IMO.
