Yeah, the gophers have had one shitty season. I'm guessing WI will have a decent tourney, as will CC. Frankly I'm rootin for whoever is playing ND.
My sleeper favorite is UMD, but they'll have to win the WCHA tourney just to make the NCAA's and that's a pretty big feat.

LSSU lost in the first round of the CCHA playoffs in game three to Bowling Green last night in overtime. They aren't half the team they were in the early 90's.

Michigan State. 2-1-1 against Michigan. Not so good against Miami, but i'll still take 'em for a nickel.

From the EC, UNH has looked dominant. BC doesnt seem to be that great this year compared to past years, though their record is fine, they just dont look as good. UNH crushed BC in a weekend home and home a couple weeks back.

Shit, gophers end up winning WCHA.
I'll take the blame for that one.

Sadly, it's gonna be Michigan
For the first time since 1998. Meh, I hate the Wolverines. Maybe UNH can get in their way, but it's not like the Cats have much positive mojo in the FF. Guess it'll have to be up to the Sioux.

Should BC have gotten the 1 seed over UNH? BC beats UNH and wins HE (sadly) crushing UVM. Their reward is a 2 seed and a tough MN team?

GO WILDCATS!
GO UNH!
It's about time we get a championship.

No fucking way. UNH basically sodomozed BC all year long- winning one game they way they did doesnt give BC the edge over UNH. Plus, I think facing Minnesota helps when youre playing 30 miles from home.
I was thoroughly impressed with UNH all year, and look for them in the Frozen Four.Decisions Decisions

Too bad about the Hockey East being way underrepresented. Go Wildcats I guess. And yeah theres no way that BC should have a number 1 over UNH. They underachieved all year until the tourney and finished 4th in the regular season.

CC needs to find a heart, quick
As a CC grad (but a Golden Rodent fan), that Gopher game and the NoDak/CC game the next afternoon had me shaking my head at the lack of grit in CC's lineup. With a home regional and a Denver FF, this year was set up for the Tigers to make a deep run but they dont look like they will even get by Little Jeffy Lerg.
