Once again: Goals for this season

Yes, once again, it's time to consider what your goals for the upcoming season are.

Grrrr jr started it by announcing that he was going to do a switch 360 grab. (Never mind that he hasn't even tried a 180 yet, I'm not going to burst his bubble). He also wants to finish first in at least one race, and he wants to get a digicam and start filming.

    Me?

    1. Top last season's 42 days.
    2. More powder.
    3. More hiking.
    4. Make the summit.
    5. More powder.
    6. Kirkwood, Mammoth, Jackson Hole, Crystal (besides my usual haunts)
    7. There's a line down Hemi I've had my eye on.
    8. Did I say more powder?

Middle class employment near a good ski hill or two.

It isn't necessary to imagine the world ending in fire or ice. There are two other possibilities: one is paperwork, and the other is nostalgia.

    1) Ski much more than I usually do, at much more interesting places with better snow. (Previously I've only skied the east, maybe 10-15 days/year. I've already bagged New Zealand and will be skiing Switzerland in January; hoping for twice as many ski days than normal.)

...I ski, not because I regard skiing as being so terribly important but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant - and not nearly so much fun.
