    X-post from gear swap - dead beacon wanted

    Seriously. Not going to try and revive it, not for a practical joke, etc. If anyone's got a non-functioning one that they should throw out just so it doesn't get used by mistake, I'll take it. Shipping + a couple bucks for the trouble.

    Need it for a little "science fair" (as I like to call them) project I got going on. Figured it might have more visibility with appropriate peeps over here in the avy forum.
