Good weekend of riding (w/ pics)
Went back home for Mother's Day this weekend. Good opportunity to see the folks...also a good opportunity to do some riding back in my home turf. I was hoping to get back out on the Bullit, but the 888 didn't arrive as promised (surprise, surprise), so I gave the hardtail a well deserved beating.
Friday was a series of trail rides. I hooked up w/ the park ranger and did a couple loops, then ran into some XC weenies and tagged along with them. All in all an absolutely magnificent day on two wheels. Just one of those days where your legs feel good, your flowing, picking and sticking lines. Made me glad to be back at the Forest.
Saturday was dedicated to the freeride trail. The superintendent made the call and got us a ride to the top. Had a nice run down. I skipped a 1 or 2 of the bigger stunts cause they're a bit painful on the hardtail. We got to the bottom and I called the ole man and offered him an opportunity to break in the new camera. He was more than happy to oblige, so another run was made...Great day. Couple samples are below, there's more HERE

Ridin, ridin
Bagtagley, I will be coming your way to thrash the trail of Death and the new freeride park at snowshoe soon enough. Just let me get my skills on the hardtail back. Going from 8" in the rear to 0" is a big drop back, ocassionaly leaving me in pain. Just think about this pic. and go to white park and practice, cause I aint got the North Shore of Morgantown out here to play on, so jumpin is my new thing. And if you come this way, we will be jumpin for sure. Photo of me dirt jumping at White Park, Morgantown, WV taken by Goldfortys.
