So far I'm 5 for 6 on the people, I suppose I'll have to throw KQ in there just elusiveness.

1. Owens, heh, snowcat or heli time with the Man would be big fun.

2. Juan Valdez, nuff said.

3. KQ, for the forementioned reason.

4. Just cause I can't stop myself on just three, mountainman, 13, BB, Ryan, Altachic, Natty, Sprite, etc.

I'd die a happy man tonight having skied with the maggots I already have.

Every one has been spectacularly fun company, from MD9 wowing me and having as much fun watching me as I do him, to splat heckling me to "keep it in the fall line, man!" to leading rusty through the last of the waist deep on the bark-edge of the trees, to sharing Red Bull with phUnk and seeds with Twoseeder, to enduring miserable snow for stylee turns with sherpa, to enduring miserable snow for laughable turns with odin, to popping funken's Snowbird cherry on the Cirque, to endless sandbagging and then watching that fucker rip the schitt out of it, to punani's permanent ear-to-ear smile, to the internship in Wolverine Cirque, to the lecture in telemark on Tower 3, to chasing Stall's spindrift down Highland Bowl, to pretending I didn't know that dude in a farmer's coveralls on the old-school Pre 205's, to gonzo scanning an Aspen pass at Beaver Creek, to safety meetings on Rustler with old dudes, to mainlining the groomed at Snowbasin with altagirl and frz, to monstrous air with Loveland losers, to early morning gut busters with Armchair, to bored riders, to Crossdresser's affectionate arrogance, to Phoggy handing me the White Room and Cletus following me into it, to GT40 grinning a perfect grin in the face of sheer insanity, to Korporal Andy leading the way to little canyon from somewhere flat, to a SoHo boy's afterburners lighting up the NJ night sky, to Kush and Co., to skiergirl flashing us her rack, to the Brothers Esto showing me that even SLC strip clubs have minimum standards, to Cornhole lowering those standards, to Nate's laying down perfect tele turns with 80lbs of beer on his back, only to sit and enjoy 65lbs of them with me, to the unamed and nameless, the faceless and the faded. All good.

The three? I'll take the trio considered the most fucked up, offensive dickwads that post. 1.) Because no one else will (except to maybe superglue their fingers). 2.) Out of curiosity. 3.) To have a good time.

For me:

1) Cliff Huckstable (because he's not really all that good... right?

2) phUnk (the man, the legend)

3) douchy mcqueerbait (so i can kick his fucking ass all over the hill )

Getting together and skiing is what it's all about.

I've skied with more maggots than I can count over the past 3 years. All of those days were great ones. It's fun watching others push their bounderies and then realize the bounderies were only in their heads. Myself being one of those that was pushed as well.

3 most Nostalgic ski encounters:

I miss skiing snowbird each weekend with Frozenwater.

I miss the spring BC kicker crew of phUnk, Z, and Powho.

I miss the crazy Basin days with GT, meats, and stoy.

I can't wait to get to ski with even more maggots over the coming seasons. I'm sure they'll be days to remember and long for created this season in CO.

People I haven't skied with, but would like to...

Buster (didn't really get a chance to ski, presidents day is on)
icemang (missed each other due to the forgotten pole fiasco)
Rev (Olympics security screwed the pooch and we never even made it to the hill)

Meeting and skiing with maggots last winter was one of the highlights of my time on skis and I look forward to many more...

My list goes beyond any known quantity as the power of the collective is the collective, thereby negating any sense of hierarchy amongst maggots. I will always be honored to share a mountain blanketed in white with any of you and know that I'll be a better person for having had the chance to do so.

Nice topic....Again, one of my highlights of last season was meeting and skiing with a variety of people off the board. Every maggot has a unique personality and their own style of skiing. For those I haven't skied with:

1. Tom (skied with him in september, but it really wasn't skiing. Would love to get a few bc days with this nutcase )

2. Easyrdr (the heating truck bed story is one of the best I've read on this board. True soul and a skier that lives for the sport. )

3. altatude (love skiing with females that rip. Feeling I can't explain. Also a bonus when she's got great looks. keep it up 'tude.)

On alpine gear I was introduced to what telemark skiing can be. I'll never look at Snowbird the same way since watching you freaks straightline Tower 3.

Of course it's always fun to watch the old guy flail, but there ya go.

It is what it is.

(and the missing pole fiasco was really a bad thing, but frozen in the fireplace is one of my dearest memories, I wouldn't trade it for the world.)

Oh, yeah, to answer the question...

1/2 MD9 and phUnk, to rectify the near misses we've had (there's been several). Hell, the first time I missed phUnk was three years ago at Whistler, it's starting to get old.

3. Ted Stryker, to figure out who the hell he is (I have some theories, but I ain't sharing just now).
