yesterday I saw a dude skiing below the chair in a #12 Patriots jersey and I yelled "GO PATS!" really loud.

I can't believe Brady was out pow hunting before the game yesterday...core!
Ski it. It'll make you feel good.

Riding the chair with a copuple of german tourists on a big day:
1st one, really exhausted, breathing hard:
"Oh my god, i hate that powder, once you're trapped in there it takes ages to get back on the piste......."
2nd one, totally covered with snow:
"Yeah, we really picked the wrong week for our holidays, you can't even enjoy your run, always have to watch out for that nasty powder patches..."
They look at us, we're also covered with snow:
1st:
"Having trouble with the snowmasses as well, eh?!"
reply:
"Yes, no matter what we do, we end up in the powder the whole season"
chairride over and out

You apparently didn't read the second sentence in that post. Or maybe I was unclear. I wouldn't hold it against anyone for saying that to me. Albuquerque is definitely a sub-optimal place to live if you ski.
AFAIK, it goes like this: Hell>Detroit>Texas>Albuquerque>Denver>HappinessIf you're a relatively moral, ethical person, there's no inherent drive to kiss ass and beg for forgiveness and promise to never do it again, which is what mostly goes on in church. -YetiMan

01-21-2008, 03:14 PM #106Okemo and Stratton have some pretty tough terrain if you know where to look. By my unofficial count there are more triple black diamond trails in the East than the West, hence, tougher terrain on the "Least" Coast. Case=closed. - Bottleman, Sept 2012

Somebody needs to learn what the "greater than" and "less than" signs mean.

Hmm, yes, I didn't mean to use this ">" with the meaning of greater than. Simply meant to use it as an arrow. As in, hell, then texas (which is perhaps questionable as bite me notes) then the rest. I don't know where the rest of the midwest goes in there...never lived there.

Oh shit! Now you've done it! Cue gonehuckin, TyWebb to entirely miss the point, and Steven S. Dallas less so...

Duh! Shit that is TOTALLY obvious! Pull your head out of your ass! All you'd have to do is look at Bill H.'s first post to see how clearly that was laid out!
Apparently you (Nick Papagiorgio) don't know the first rule of TGR: If you are going to respond to someone's post it is your responsibility to look at and completely read all posts they have posted previously. Then (this is still rule 1) you have to search the entire forum to make sure there was not name change. If you don't find any info regarding this on the current TGR forum it is YOUR responsibility to repeat this process on Big Lines, New Schoolers, Alpine Zone, etc.
This post makes me smile even more because I know I'm on Bill H.'s ignore list
.

EDIT: I forgot my contribution:
On the lift I heard a flat lander tell another that he bangs chicks all the time in ski towns. The trick is tell them you're someone famous. He always claimed to be Skogen McConkey.Last edited by RaccoonFace; 01-21-2008 at 04:12 PM.
