Yep, that's a SPOT. I wonder if he was the douchnozzle that kept setting it off on Bethoud Pass last year, thinking it was a beacon, and causing SAR to respond everytime.

Sharing a chair today with a woman from Southern Illinois...she tells me that a couple of days ago she is riding the same chair, it's approaching the top so she starts to get ready to unload only to discover, much to her dismay, that she is missing a ski! Now I've seen people drop all kinds of shit while riding the lift, some more noticeable than others, but how can you not notice that you've dropped a ski during a 7-minute lift ride?

She thought the whole situation was hilarious and the way she told the story was pretty funny...guess you needed to be there though.

I managed to do that at KT the other day--thought I was clicked in and I wasn't, even though I skated up to the lift without a problem. Fortunately I dropped it on the ramp, not in the Fingers. It would definitely be hard to not notice the ski was missing though.

He got too distracted by my cute little buns dancing around gates in front of him. I think I was faster because my goggles are neon green which is the 3rd fastest color

Even has the single biner on the backpack.
The ski falling off and hitting this guy mid-run would be the only thing that could salvage this guy, his video and his anti-goggle-fogging-darth mask.

Then on top of that his "blog" sucks.

On top of that he is one of the douchy USA hating Canadians.

Not all are douches, but this guy is just like the South Park episode.

    1. Where is the powder? Pow pow means powder?
    2. What is the large belay locker for? Expecting a rappel? (see #3)
    3. A SPOT on a green groomer?

Best part of the video is the last 20 seconds when he is skiing in the parking lot...

Another case of a missing ski from this weekend:

At Caberfae there is a part of the lift about halfway up that gets close to the ground. Tall guy on long skis on the chair in front of me was wasn't paying attention and his ski tip stuck right in the snow and popped off. He just sat there and rode up with one ski. No reaction from him or anyone else with him, like he was just trying to pretend that didn't just happen. Our chair was cracking up. Actually I give him credit for handling it well. A gaper would probably freak out (or not notice) hmmmm
