TR: The Inbounds Chronicles III - Vail
Background:
Vail STD snowfall: 201 inches
Snowfall in the last 7: 51 inches
Despite word of a legit invasion at Vail yesterday, a couple of coworkers and myself decided that a trip out of the Keystone Valley was much needed. We wanted to taste the fresh and the deep....

NM Bill Warmin' up in the sunlight, perhaps there is a method to his madness:

NM Chay followin' the leader:

After parting ways with Summit and Adamin (how the hell do you spell your tgr name, dude?), we took their advice in search of of the untracked and found our own little zone (of which I took first tracks):

Unforunately, the sun parted ways with us immediately thereafter, so we decided to session the zone rather than make vertigo turns.Chay makin' the most of our decision:

Bill and I Play Along:

Chay deciding the snow warranted front flip practice:

Back to work tomorrow, but good times today.Last edited by KansasBoarder; 01-13-2008 at 06:26 PM.

Nice Hucks. KILLER pics!!!!! Way to do a TR proud.
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.

Unreal pictures. You have a gift.
I can't believe you are a rando racer because I look so much better in Lycra than you.
People who don't think the Earth is flat haven't skied Vail.

adimmen - who would have thought two m's. My bad.
Anyway, it was great riding with you two, however briefly. I appreciate all of the advice you were willing to give, and as thanks I offer:
a low-angle, choppy-snow, warm-up, my-ski's-together-are-wider-than-your-pow-board, severely-cropped, low-res pic:
