    Rock in my bases?

So on my last run of the day on New Year's, I hit a rock. Now I have a bunch of chunks of granite stuck in the base. And the edge separated from the ski a bit.
I have no real experience working on my skis other than filling in some gouges last year.

To get the rocks out it rocks like I need to cut out some of the base around them. It's not a huge area only maybe 2 inches of assorted pebbles in the base.

For the edge I figure I need to epoxy + clamp the edge back onto the ski. There is no shift out of the alignment of the ski, but i want to reattach the edge. It is right underfoot so i doubt there will be too much flexing, but is there any type of epoxy that would hold up to the cold/moisture better. JB weld maybe? I've seem a lot of recommendations for it in the past.

Anyways, do you have any advice?for what to do?

Note: I do realize pics would make this much easier, but my camera is dead, I need to finish my HW, so that will have to come later.

Don't forget to use an edge screw or two. Epoxy and clamps aren't enough to hold an edge repair alone.
