Yesterday was not epic, but it sure did not suck...I got more than my fair share of untracked turns.
Good to see some mags, too.Music: http://soundcloud.com/powtron

So I did ten laps on Loveland Pass and didn't even come close to tracking it out. My legs just got beat. Almost nobody else there. It's not super deep, but so smooth and fun. Guessing it'll be better than anything inbounds at A Basin or Loveland tomorrow. Just sayin. I'm heading back to Breck, maybe do a little walking around.
The wind was kinda weird, like E/NE.Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each.

A-basin should be staying open till memorial day.... somehow. That's when they have the Festival of the brewpubs. Fingers crossed that they can pull it off.
I was at the luv the other day and there seemed like there was plenty of snow to stay open for beginner/intermediate folks. It was strangely reminiscent of October though. There was nobody there though and that was a Sunday.

Skied Coon Hill yesterday morning with KansasBoarder and DarthGaper before heading over to the Corn Harvest:

Even with the limited terrain, it was a beautiful day with many great friends both in and out of bounds. Some great music to wrap it up as well!

I don't know the names of jack shit on the pass, but I did drive over yesterday to check out coverage.
Possibly the stuff on the east side, starting from the top of the pass and ending at the hairpin. Possibly. It's getting thin already.
More likely to be in will be the short, steep, east facing shots above Pass Lake.
Some of the longer shuttle laps such as Sniktau will probably still be in. But basically everything else accessible (Professor, DAve's Wave, Buttcrack, etc. are already melted out or never filled in this year to begin with.
