More likely to be in will be the short, steep, east facing shots above Pass Lake.

Some of the longer shuttle laps such as Sniktau will probably still be in. But basically everything else accessible (Professor, DAve's Wave, Buttcrack, etc. are already melted out or never filled in this year to begin with.
Thanks. We are headed to Colo for what was supposed to be an A-Basin trip, obviously that has changed. Down to to doing some shuttle patch skiing and some serious drinking.

Normally they don't open Independence Pass till almost memorial day. But there is talk of it going much sooner this year.

When it does open, it will probably have the best shuttle skiing in the state and Aspen has been known to allow drinking.
GRskier probably has the best beta since he works for the county?

I have heard that the snowpack up there was better than most other places. Now I have to figure out how to work Indy Pass into Mothers Day.

Skied Grizzly Peak's northeast couloir on Friday. Started at the upper lot at Abay, climbed directly up Grizzly, skied the couloir, then skinned back up Grizzly Gulch and exited out Dave's Wave. Skied to within 300 yards of the car on the way out of Dave's Wave. A pretty long tour for the reward, but fun nonetheless.

Speaking of Grizzly...We went back yesterday and skied a lap on the north face. Several factors contributed to only getting in one lap, but as always great to get out. I love that north face, can't wait to get back there when the snowpack is deeper!

17 days till snowmaking. This was on the pizza I got from Mtn Buzz last night.

Pbourdon's pizza rivals his box art!

Bump in hopes of another season like 2010. Since last year sucked and I don't have any pictures from Loveland at all, here are a couple shots from almost 18 months ago.

I reserve the vortex of negativity for driving I-70. I'm reserving my signature ski move, "milking the giraffe" for the first powder day.
