Only skied the ridge once today cause it was so cold. Also, I think I am turning into a mussy(mouse pussy). The skier's right of super bowl looked pretty hard and wind affected, wild child and porcupine saddle were wonderful as always. As usual the upper part of wild child chutes slid to the bed surface. Also, there was a new sketchy looking crack running through the wild child cornice which I was careful to tread lightly on. Heres a shot courtesy of Matt Teuling from Porcupine:

I dropped a little too early on Wild Child. Pretty wind affected but still slarvable. Similar on field of dreams.
Run of the day for me was tunnel face, once again.

Rock Chutes was looking prime. Marmot looked pretty wind rippled. Neither opened today. Rock chutes could be really good tomorrow. Getting to them could be a little tricky.
I'm sure by the time I show up, Marmot will have been broken up nicely by you more ambitious types.

Overall, Loveland's been skiing surprisingly poorly this season considering the snow totals. Windy + Cold + Poor Vis = not too fun.

Yes, it has been awful. I have had to go golfing and shopping more days than I care to remember!

    ^^^ This.

What's nice about Breck and Keystone is that they're so much warmer and less windy than Loveland. Better viz too.

I love Keystone. It is most definitely a better ski experience than Loveland Ski Area.

Today was such a sick, un-expected, sleeper pow day. Gotta love what the wind can bring in.

Holy windy batman. #9 didn't even spin today. I think I saw that it's supposed to be even more windy tomorrow.

When we left at 12:30, only chairs 1, 2, and 6 were spinning. They even shut down #4. It made lines outside the maze on 1, which is a long line for Loveland. Still fun snow, but seemed pretty busy.

Weird... we skied A-Basin today, and the wind was "breezy", but never horrible. It was much, much worse up on the pass and when we drove down past Loveland it got progressively stronger. Looks like we made the right call- the snow at A-Basin was great and the weather was perfect.

Hey, anybody from Denver gonna be heading up tomorrow or Thursday? I managed to loose my keys yesterday (always check your zippers kids) and I need to get back up to my car. I've got a comp pass for anyone that steps up. I live near DU. Shoot me a PM. Thx.

Didn't think there were any gusts over ~40 after opening.

I was there Sunday. Not bad; a little windy but warm and bluebird all day, no lift closures (at least on 1 2 4 6 and 8).

I'll be making some laps with the GF tomorrow. Golden-esue shell, white helmet, on some s7's or Lhasa Pows.

It'll be my first time up there, certainly wouldn't mind if anyone PM'd some tips of places to find some good terrain.
