Colgate University trails
Anyone ride them? Mtbr has excellent reviews for them and I'm sadly always open to new and expensive diversions. I'll be a frosh next year and have some, but definitely not much mtb experience.
If anyone has any knowledge of the area, I'm looking for a new setup and would like some input as to whether hardtail or full suspension would be the way to go.
I'd put the price cap at around 900.00, so a hardtail would definitely be preferred, but I've also heard the versatility of fs is worth the extra $$s-- especially if the drops described in the reviews actually exist.
any info appreciated

Late Sep- early Oct riding will be sweet up there. Does Colgate still have a small hill with a ropetow on campus?

small cut trail is still there-- no ropetow anymore. I was there in feb. with an "average" 3ft or so on the groud-- that said, the little hill could provide some fun in between classes.
