Lots of snow on Duffy E of Cayoosh Pass. We skied e facing slopes and stayed away from windloaded NW and N slopes. SH of about 1mm growing below tree line
HS 178 cms at 2090m. E aspect. 30 degree slope.
Fist 0-27cms
4F 27- 40
1f 40-57
W/S @ 25cms
Dec 3 pineapple 70 cms 7cm thick
Compression test
CTM 11 @25cms
CTM 26 @ 45cms
SShear Med @ 45cms
None of these were sudden planar
Some pictures
Rob skinning up

Approaching the ridgeline. Lots of skiable aspects which is why I like this place

First run a bit disappointing as it was too low angle. Second run was better - Jameson attacks

Nice long runs - each about 400m or 1300 ft of blower powder
Sharon's turn

we were at ridgeline. Wind probably took care of facets at ridgeline.
Definite facets around shallow snowpack on E faces (around rocks when i took ski off to skin up) Also in some treewells btl - I could really feel the facets when breaking trail up to the E facing chutes.
