Wolf creek was fun today. Everyone cleared out at 12 and then it started dumping. Numbered chutes were fun

This is probably a good week to use those Loveland and Superpass days at Crested Butte. 14 last night

Anyone who says they had a great day at Taos today is a fabulist. On the plus side, I got a refund on my lift ticket after skiing for 3 hours because they couldnt get anything higher on the mountain opened. The cashier said, "I hate this fucking mountain. I dont even know why we bothered to open." Uhhhh, on the one hand she might need some coaching. On the other hand I got my $82 back. Perhaps she wanted to stick it to Lou Bacon?

Tomorrow might be good but heavy, it was a wet upside down cake when we rolled at 2pm. Comp got cancelled.

Snow at Wolf Creek was good this weekend. I'd estimate that half of Denver showed up to ski though, lift lines were super long (for WC). Luckily enough, most people were either skiing straight back down under the liftline on Alberta, or heading up the Knife Ridge and disappearing. Numbered chutes stayed decent all weekend. Locals were bitter.

Odd. We skied Wolfie on Friday and Saturday. Never waited longer than a minute and everyone seemed joyous.

45 second bootpacks seem to vex many, however.

I'll second that. I got taken out by some jackoff who had skis and pole in one hand, and his selfie stick in the other, trying to take video of his EPIC "hike" up to the knife ridge.

Glad everyone migrated south this weekend. Fun day out with the lady in the park. Not near the snow we had last week but a solid 6-8" of soft made for a fun day. Should be skiing good all week in the park.

If half of Denver was skiing Wolf Creek today, the other half must have been skiing CB. Longest lines I've seen in my 20 years here, although they generally moved pretty quickly.

Glad the SW and Central got moisture they needed, regardless of the skiing.
Hopefully the northern mtns get in on this over the next few days?

Cool, was hoping it would be about perfect.

South may be too deep, and lots of stucks.

If everyone was at Wolf or CB, then no one was at snowmass. Straight on to the chair everywhere but alpine springs and caught the rope drop for HV wall and it was incredible. My best day of the year easily

And then it went to hell. 47 degrees at 8000ft. high humidity, snow went to slop. Avalanches everywhere, pass closed, sloppy sloppy, sloppy. Was good Sunday.

    Monday wolf creek sucked today.
reported 10 today and 42 inches in 48hr
skied like 2 inches of sierrra cement.
had a warm rain event on top of the powder last night.
was not good at all today
