I showed up late at Copper, still had plenty of turns with the snow banging up on my legs. My only gripe is that there was a line at Storm King and I have line aversion, therefore did not ski Spaulding or Enchanted Forest. Still have some other spots I like a lot so all good.

Hit some quick laps at the basin before work. Pali skied a little weird up top with some wind fuck. Beavers and zuma bowl were excellent, felt good to switch it up.
Parking wasn’t even full at 10:30. Next weekend it will fill at 9 I bet, all the frangers thinking they’re being smart by not going pres weekend

We might have been following each other. Agreed with everything you said. Sole tracks in Christmas Trees was nice.

Just in case anybody missed it, some maggots are meeting up to ski at Monarch this Tuesday. Low key. Check out the Monarch thread in the general forum and come if you can/want.

Damn! Two week ski trip, supposed to be back to work today. Worked half day and just had to blow it off to get out. Basin skied about as good as it gets. Beautiful snow, sun, and company. Legs feelin strong too.

Another stunning day in the alpine and easy traffic home. 60° in Denver when we pulled in, 65° tomorrow. Feels like March.
