Nice spreadable cream cheese up high today, very warm. Should set up nice for the next round of moisture this weekend. Then super warm all next week. Weird but I'll take it.

    Damn that crown is huge.

Caught a nice little sunrise this morning as the storm moved out. Would have been nice to have had a real camera. Lots of low wispy fog created a cool affect in the distance. The snow from this storm reminds me a lot of Alaska.

Ugh. Too warm. Heavy wet snow up here. Plowed easily though, and still skis well.

I am beginning to think that this winter is a sample of what future winters in Colorado will be like with global warming.

The part I've liked about this year is the wetter thicker snow early in Dec that gave us such a good base. However this April weather in Feb is not good.

I'm calling a late March - early May with lots of snow in the mtns.

I'll pass on multiple rain events and consistent temps above freezing.

NWS thinks it's so warm this weekend that rain to 10k or higher.

I will take the good with the bad. Up high things have been but down your way not as good. We have an amazing base going into a few of our snowiest months. Can't complain about that. You just need to get out of your valley and get higher up. East Wall. So good right now.

We are entering a Solar minimum with clear data showing a cooling trend and all data pointing to a mini-ice age along with pole shifting.

. Don't get me wrong, I believe in localized warming causes by excessive fossil fuel combustion, but conservation needs to be our main goal, not driving up costs.
