    I'd get there pretty early.
Yeah... it's a long approach. Will probably end up skiing something else.

A little bit of wallowing was involved but hot damn the turns were great. Been out of comission for over a month with a stupid sprained ankle, but I'm just on the edge of getting back to it finally. The narrow, nasty and deep was calling my name today. Paying for it now, but it was worth it. The top few inches is really touchy and slabby out there. Completely manageable, but don't get caught with your pants down.

Just enough clouds to keep the snow from getting too warm. Awesome ski today!

Your choices are skinning or Lenawee to High Noon.

That was about the extent of the gnar today. Maybe 1" fell instead of the forecasted/hoped for 4-8". With no sun, there were some soft spots, but also a lot of crunch - at least before noon. I left at 1pm. Glad to be making turns, but nothing to write home to mom about.

Snow line is surprisingly low indeed. All this moisture has been great to see, better late than never.

I've been out twenty out of twenty two days. Heavy winds and dumping hard grapple the past three days, even boated in the afternoons a few days to make it a two sport day. Yes, I also work every day.
