Fatality up there over the weekend. Sounds like the body was found at the base of lambs slide. Haven't heard many details other than that

Some fresh snow visible in the La Platas. This is looking north from 7 miles SW of Durango at about 11:15 this morning. Sorry for the crappy cell phone picture.

Sopris had little, but capitol and the bells looked like they got a bit.

None that I saw in the Gore this morning. A skiff on New York and a bit more around the tunnel. Looks like it's gonna be awhile before anything consistent. Off season is upon us.

It'll be nice and warm for a week or 10 days, then another round of early season weather...

Is there anyplace in the front range near Denver that has good fall colors left? My wife, 2 month old and dog are looking to go for a hike on Sunday, but we are not real sure of where to go.
Any recommendations?

A few pockets of color around up here and the valley floor looks nice but the majority is done.

Definitely better now than Jan-Mar. Looks like at least another week of warm sunny weather up high. November opening for ABasin/LL?
