Radar looks like it is trying to snow mainly east of the divide right now.

Just a huge cloud bank sitting on top of the divide.... not seeing much snow. 65 and sunny down here in Boulder, but windy as hell.

Twas crazy windy driving back up today. Some flurries along the divide but that was it. Southern Mtns gonna get a little this weekend, they need it. Still no real cool down or consistent snow looming but hopefully soon.

Good for the south. Any chance the north/I70 areas get some decent snow Sat night?

I counted 14 snowflakes falling at Vail today, and they were not blown off trees

A chance on Sat but the NWS doesn't seem to stoked on snow for the north this weekend or next week. They seem to think the ridge builds back strong and keeps the storm track N and E.

As previously stated no pattern change until middle of Feb at the earliest. Some storms will top the ridge from time to time and might deliver a little snow here or there but not much. Temps stay above average and the wait continues for winter to return. Lots of moisture heads into the NW this week but temps are warm all over so snow levels will be high in the PNW, MT, and WY it appears.

Stoked for the Worlds the next 2 weeks.

3.5 hours to the Wolf parking lot, saw maybe 5 cars from Minturn to South fork, eery…

4" on the ground at 9:30 and snowed steadily all day, not wet but small flakes. Had to tap out at 2, battle fatigue.

White out for most of the day, don't know my way around…. the bottom half of the mountain is a giant version of snag park!

I'd get to the top and could not see shirt in any direction.

    Oh and Holy Texans! Wow

    Hope it snows all night

Do you think it'll be possible to park at Bear Lot to ski BC and watch the racing on a weekday? Or will it be so crowded that parking will be at Vail and will have to shuttle?

Get there early and you'll be ok. Rodeo lot is the first shuttle area, not Vail.

Rodeo is just east of City Market in Avon. It's the main overflow area for BC.
