Im not the one who even asked for the location but you are an asshole. It is fucking June. There is no powder to be saved by not revealing the location.

There looks to be a small ground fire up above the keystone landfill/gun range. There's not much smoke, and it doesn't seem to be growing at the moment.

    Let's hope it stays small.

And on an ironic note, my smoke detector just started beeping, indicating low battery.

1.This morning, on the right going east before the bend. My friend called on her way to work all sad, poor cubby ect.
It would be cool to harvest the poor cubby's skull before fish and game come along...

Word is that there are patches of snow on the dark timber uphill, but some people are walking around it. Others are riding it as an out and back. Pretty much all of the major rides are open other than 403, Teo, and Star Pass. Many of the trails are dry/dusty/need rain.

did a snod/403/401 combo yesterday and the dark timber uphill from schofield did indeed have a few small snow patches to dismount around in the first quarter mile or so. After that it's pretty much all ride-able.

On the CBMBA's website they are showing 403 as good to go now which is kinda dumb. Still lots of snow/mud to melt and dry out...you'll pretty much be walking a lot of the upper part of the downhill in the trees. I'd say it will be a couple more weeks before I'd even think about going back.
