Well a 12 hour flight back from Japan myself and a few other people drank all of the planes Jim Beam, Jack and Cap'n... we then moved on to the bottle of johnny walker red and bottle of jack we bought at the duty free shop....

Yes we did get flagged and yes we were the annoying people that were wasted and loud as hell the entire flight..... Had to celebrate living through a ski trip to Japan without getting arrested...

    thats 24oz of pure alcohol
figure a stand shot of whisky\vodka is about 100proof and 1.5oz

thats nearly 32SHOTS of liqour over that same time period (aka 1.4L nearly a handle)

How did that guy even stand up?
    Assuming a shot is 1oz (30ml) wouldn't it be closer to 1L?

I think that's possible over the span of 6-7 hours, especially for a seasoned alcoholic.

From personal experience (and I'm not yet seasoned) I know it is possible for two people to finish a 60 pounder (1.7L) over the span of 5-6 hours, or one person to finish 26oz of cheap rye between 10pm and 2am.

Confined to an airplane seat would make it a lot harder though

Oh I realize that, although I think baseball is retarded. What I was mostly referring to, was the fact that it was road trip. This to me, implies that they were traveling by ground.

Regardless, that shit was poorly written.
