Yep...Classic Dav skiing down in Portillo, and off Highlands Ridge in the 5 fingers area. The film includes both skiers well known and completely under the radar. Some of the most talented skiers in the world don't get free gear and fly around in helicopters all the time. "8 Years Later" includes everyday skiers that rip and are just out there having fun.

i doubt there are many un-sponsored skiers who rip as hard as sponsored skiers.

You need to go to Jackson Hole on a powder day. No names killing it all over the place.

This movie isn't about how many places we can travel to, or about how rad we wanna make ourselves seem. This movie is simply about having fun on a mountainside. Its about the spirit of a new breed of skiers and our place and time at the turn of the century. And its about a way of life dedicated to a sport that is going off.

    Nice KBerg.

Ya...so this is not a remake of Gaffney's flick...we just wanted to title it in reference to "1999" because that film really got us fired up to make a small film of our own one day.

This is our first try at this, and we sure did have fun making it!!

This is great news. I've been eagerly anticipating someone putting together some good footage from the RFV. Frank, your location says Denver, is that where you live now? I thought you were in Aspen? Will there be a premiere or screening in town for the locals here? Good luck with the movie, I will be ordering for sure.

Poop*Ghost--Thanks for the purchase. Much appreciated.

Ricky--Yep, doin' my time in the "Ver". Will be moving back into the mountains after a bit more time served down here!! Strange living in Denver after spending the past decade in the Roaring Fork Valley. Regarding the screening of 8YL -- about a month or so ago, we showed it at the Cantina to a gathering of folks. Thinking of doing a screening in Denver and another in Aspen.
